A child with actual size 17cm and foot width 6.8cm (widest part) tried them on. I usually wear New Balance (996) sneakers in size 16.5cm, and other shoes and sandals in size 17.0cm.

⁡ This is made of mesh material and the opening is made of elastic rubber-like material.
My 4 year old child was able to put them on and take them off smoothly by himself.
The rubber around the ankles is not tight and sticks to the skin.
There is a gap of about one size, so you can wear socks, and the shoes won't fall off even when you wear them barefoot.
The height of the instep is normal, but there is a little room in the instep area, so even people with high insteps may be able to wear them.

I think a size just right or one size up would be just right.
